Workshop goals:

1.      evaluate the integration of census samples accomplished to date (Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador,  México, Panamá, and Venezuela).

2.      discuss plans for completing the integration of samples for the remaining countries of the region

3.      consider the incorporation of digital boundary files into the microdata base

4.      study the obstacles and challenges for the integration of census samples for the 2010 round of censuses

5.      debate methods and procedures of the IPUMS Project to improve them

6.      respond to any doubts, questions or concerns regarding any aspect of the Project
