Description/ Comparability:
RECTYP assigns all household records the alphabetic string "H." This
allows users to discriminate between household and person records; the
latter are assigned the string "P" in the person-record variable RECTYP.
Each household record is followed by one or more person records, and all
data pertaining to any household pertains to all of the persons within
it.
This variable is fully comparable across all census years. |
