Description/Comparability: 

MIGSAMP identifies persons contained in the 1980 migration/place of work/travel time samples. These persons comprise half of each of the three 1980 samples (State, Metro, and Urban/Rural), and make up the 1980 universe for IPUMS variables relating to migration, place of work, and travel time to work.
