Scholarships & Prizes

We offer various scholarships and prizes to history majors, rewarding work previously completed and funding future endeavors. We strongly encourage you to apply for either a scholarship or paper prize during your time as an undergraduate with the History Department.

Scholarships are awarded for work not yet completed. Paper prizes are awarded for work already finished.

Due Dates for Applications

The due date for scholarships and prizes administered by the History Department in 2011-2012 will be Wednesday, February 29, 2012. The Undergraduate Studies Office emails all history majors and posts fliers around Heller Hall with the due date for applications.

The due date for scholarships and prizes administered by the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) in 2012-2013 will be Monday, February 1, 2012. These are known as "CLA Continuing Student Scholarships." You do not need to submit a separate application to the history department for these scholarships.
