• the diversified core
• the designated themes of liberal education
• and writing intensive

Many, but not all, history courses can be applied toward these requirements. In fact, one of the requirements in the diversified core is coursework that offers historical perspectives.

Please note: Liberal education requirements are separate from the requirements for the history major.
