Where are there local sources that I can use?
There are many archives and repositories at the University of Minnesota and throughout the Twin Cities. The University Librarians and your instructor are excellent people to ask about these archives.
The University of Minnesota Libaries are your best source for research materials and help. Their Research Guides offer a wide variety of information, from orientation and guides to using the libraries to workshops, at http://www.lib.umn.edu/research/
Their Research Quickstart gives examples of the best search indexes, catalogs and bibliographies, writing guides, general resource catalogs, and statistical databases.
