How can I get some good advice?
As the time to take the major paper course draws near, talk with history department advisers, professions, and other students about the most suitable thematic focus and/or instructor for your project. Check the class schedule for the time your thematic section meets. Arrange the rest of your schedule around your major paper section.
Be sure to speak with the instructor of your section during the term prior to writing the major paper in order to get started smoothly with refining your research question and finding the proper sources.
