Zain Al-’Abadin

 

 

The Sultan Zain Al-’Abadin was the rightful ruler of Semudera, on the island of Sumatra. He had been overthrown by a usurper named Sekandar. Zheng He restored the sultan to his throne on his fourth expedition.
